Great you found some items you could use also. I found a few little items, bullet/primers also yesterday, that had shown up at the local GS.
Added to my supply it will further my goodies for a good long time, no matter.
And with the season opening up, snow melting and sun shinning more with warm weather will get out more than I have the last few weeks for some more chuck and squeek shooting. Nothing but fun times, as usual here.

Yesterday I purchased 2k of CCI 450,B4, and some small pistol primers, all in store 3.99/100-5.99, 1 brick of 450's 49.99. Saw Federal 22's and centerfire ammo in farm store. I didn't check prices. Or and a pound of R50(28.00). Going to a show Saturday before sporting clays.

NOE makes moulds in .172". Pretty sure they also carry gas checks for them.

Ammo and reloading supplies on dealer shelves have been becoming more abundant in my AO for probably over a month now. Even 223 ammo is showing up at good prices. I'm sure there a few price gougers around, but I pretty well already know who they already are in my AO, so I stay away from them for a host of reasons that existed long before this most recent crisis.

I haven't bought a single thing because I don't need anything..... I began buying a bit extra while the shelves were plentifully stocked with mostly lower priced items dating back to the experience of the first crisis under the Clinton regime. If that makes me a hoarder in some eyes, so be it... I consider it being prepared for the inevitable. But hopefully what is being seen now will ease up the crisis for those who do want to buy supplies or loaded ammo at a reasonable price.

All that said, as for the "venture capitalists" who are buying up supplies as they hit the shelf in hopes of selling them at a profit.... I personally hold no ill will toward them at all. They are taking an economic capitalistic risk on their own. Just like a lot of others have done in the past 250 years under our predominant economic system. Some of them die by it and some prosper by it. Its all part of the economic game in our country (capitalism) that is a far better option than looming Socialism.

I will say however that I do chuckle at those who claim to be staunch "capitalists" who blame them for someone else not having something or for having to pay a high price to get a scarce commodity in a capitalist market. That attitude reeks as one of the standard arguments for socialism. Some folks need to put on their "big girl panties" and worry about other things that they might be able to influence. This isn't one of those controllable things and incessant bitching about it does no one any good..

JMO - And please feel free to "fire at will" if you must. I'll be Will if you need a target. I'm sure that the "bullets" fired will bounce right off of me and not cause me to lose any sleep.....

Remington Ammunition launched a fresh video yesterday:

Sounds like they are starting to run full throttle.

Amen.

Having partially grown up in Socialist country although admittedly much less oppressive than many (Still reminds me of how to cook a frog.)...I 100% agree with everything you stated. (

My hopes, if nothing else, I hope it wakes up the Demoncrats that still believe that the Demons don't want to come after guns, "there just saying that to get votes". Fear the govt that fears the people.

I agree the Gov knows everything about all of us they want to know like it or not, just my opinion. It did feel good however to open an email today from "Gun Owners of America" and read the following.
Dear Doug,
I have fantastic news to share!
Montana just became a Second Amendment sanctuary state!
Thanks to your help and persistence, the Second Amendment Sanctuary bill (HB 258) -- sponsored by Rep. Jedediah Hinkle -- was signed and enacted by Governor Gianforte.
This means state and local government officials are under order to NOT enforce ANY new federal bans or regulation on firearms, magazines, ammunition, ammunition components, or firearm accessories, which will make it significantly less likely for Biden’s federal gun control to be enforced.

Not the end of the Earth magnificent but a step in the right direction anyway.
