Meopta
Or is it Me Meopta arrived yesterday
]Here it is fitted up to my sako Swift. First impression was the length of objective lens Bell and the size of the ocular lense housing. Both seem a bit big but this maybe the 1" tube as I am used to 30mm tubes. The reticle is a Duplex style with a small inner cross. The fine centre should give a definite aiming point what I mean is aiming at a spot on the target not at the target. The side focus is marked 50yd 100yd and infinity there are no real surprises here as it does what it should.Eye relief is pretty good at about 3.75" adjusted to my eye and is very generous with eye placement not being critcial. I like the turret style and the knobs have a definite click.I did as was suggested `read the instructions` but could not see how to reset the turrets and no zero stop unfortuneatly.Blooming on the lenses is a lime green colour I am not sure if this helps with the light transmission but this scope has a very bright sight picture.I was reading the number plate of a car parked down the street at around 100m at 6 o`clock last night on 18x and when I wound it back to 10 it was like someone turned a light on.I look forward to taking this scope into the "wild" or for all you oldies "bush"to see how it goes. Fast is good ....But ACCURACY is EVERYTHING .......Wyatt Earp

I'm not much of a Meopta fan but I sure like that Sako Swift.

Thanks Chuck coming from a Sakophile that is a real complement.
The jury is out on the Meopta but I suppose time will tell.
