Default 6 BR Dies

I have a set of Forster FL Bench Dies #004181. $95.00 @ Midway

Sell for $75.00 shipped

Also have a (blue) box of Lapua 6 BR Norma brass. $124.00 @ Midway (may be only 99 - haven’t counted)

Sell for $85.00 shipped (SPOKEN FOR IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED)

Sell both for $150.00 shipped

Dies new and unused - bought for a project that never got started.

Check to see if these are what you are looking for as I know little about the 6 BR.

Payment by US Postal Money Order

I'm a real fan of the 6mm BR. I would hang around bench rest matches and snag "shot out" slow twist 6ppc barrels for a song that came off Stolle Panda action. The thread pitch is the same as M70 actions with a longer threaded shank. Machined off the excess length and rechambered the barrel to 6mmBR. Needless to say they are spectacular shooting rifles when I do my part and are pretty thrifty with powder to boot.

Something I could pursue since I have a Bat with two 6 PPC barrels (1 slow twist and 1 fast twist). I also have a couple of other 6mm barrels in other chamberings any of which could be chambered to 6mmBR. However, this would require that the Bat bolt be opened up to handle the BR case head.

All in all, I am probably better off to just sell the 6BR dies and brass.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Or do what others have done and make the 6mmBR case into a rebated rim design and use the .440 bolt you already have.
