I'm not a FB user so I have no need to post pictures there...........

Try to picture in your mind a maybe one year old rifle in NIB condition that is in fact almost 60 years old......... That's what it looks like.

Yesterday I did something that I normally don’t do. I picked up a hitch hiker. After he got into my car, he said to me, “I’m surprised that you picked me up. I could be a serial killer.”

I replied, “I'm not worried because what are the odds of there being two serial killers in the same car at the same time?”

He suddenly got very quiet, and he got out of my car at the next stop light.

Why do I have to press one for English when you’re just going to transfer me to someone I can't understand anyway?

Default Just for Jordan........

Here are a couple of cell phone pics of the Model 70 264 Win Mag at a public range today. Sorry about the uneven light glare on the rifle and the stock. The cover over the shooting benches doesn't filter out all sunlight later in the afternoon this time of year as the range faces toward the west.

The rifle shoots great and it was easy to get the scope and rifle sighted in. However, as anticipated from bore sighting the original Leupold scope that came with the rifle, it took up quite a bit of L-R windage adjustment in the scope to get it sighted in. As a result I'm going to install a set of offset inserts in the back ring of the Burris Signature scope ring set-up. As sighted in today, the scope rings both have zero offset inserts.

This will align the scope more toward the barrel point of impact so that the internal scope adjustments will be more centered, allowing for the erector lenses in the scope to be more aligned with each other to improve light transmission in the scope. Its not a biggie either way with or without the offset inserts but I'm anal....
