Buddy had a Kimber of Oregon 82 in 22 Hornet and couldn't resolve headspace issues with it. Only thing we could figure out was that the action was springing, it went back to Kimber a couple of times with no joy...…..this was in the early 80's.

Like Herb's buddy I had the same problem very late 70s early 80s, the importer here brought five into the country and all had terrible accuracy might was was taken back and refunded and I believe the remaining ones were sent back to Kimber.
It was a beautiful rifle, great balance and wonderful walnut stock, broke my heart sending it back Johno |

The Kimber 82 is one of my four Hornets. It likes 40gr VMAX with W296, shoots about 3/8" for five at 100yds.

anybody wanting to sell one
i will take one that dont shoot worth a darn, just wanting to screw on a new barrel anyway, another 17ah project.
