I also have a Remington 700 BDL that shoot the same load at 3701fps and consistent 3/8" groups.
Russel I hear that 4007 is going to be discontinued?

Smile Bergers with Federal 205 Primers.

Last week I tried some 25g Bergers using ADI 2208 (Varget). I tried Rem 7 1/2 primers and Federal 205 primers, 23.0g - 23.2g, both shot excellent. The pick was 23g Varget with Federal 205 primers, the best group was 0.21 MOA - 0.46 MOA 4 X 5 groups.

Using the same powder but with 23.2g and Rem 7 1/2 primers groups averaged over 4 X 5 shots 0.44 MOA - 0.51 MOA. Very happy with the Bergers, I went on to head shoot 6 rabbits out to 220 yards with his load.

I just made up 50 with the 23g Varget and Federal 205 primers which shot better by a whisker .

Default Three Powders...

The three powders that gave me great results, are IMR-4320, WW-760 and AA-2700. AA-2700 gave me awesome groups with 30gr Berger bullets...

WOW... excellent accuracy / tight groups, well done!
I'm stuck on H4895 but will have to try Varget just for curiousity sake.
Not sure what brass you're using because there will be a huge variance in powder quantity with different brands. I use NOSLER in the Cooper and REMINGTON in the CZ being very careful not to accidentally mix the 2 brands.

Al I am using Nosler brass, rifle is a CZ 527 Varmint, the rifle is glass bedded with a 1lb trigger pull. This is my new favourite rifle, only 276 rounds through her now. I have a similar load for 25g Vmax projectiles that shoots nice also in my Rem 700 17 Rem. I full length resize and can shoot my loads out of either rifle with good accuracy. With my Rem 700 it shoots good with just about anything, also glass bedded with 1lb trigger pull. My CZ is just sweet with a 4-14x56 Nightforce SHV scope it's a great walkabout varmint gun.
