Default .20 practical UBR Complete

just finished assembling the Ugly Black Rifle, need rings for a Leupold 2-7 with dot I intend to use since it has no current home.
Jewell trigger isn't as bad as it looked to install.
Everything else on these put together kits is easy.
At 10 Lbs 3 Oz. not exactly a featherweight.

Next to see what a 32 grain bullet will do out of a .20 Practical

You'll be pleasantly surprised at the flatness of the round and the utter destruction that little 32gr pill is capable of. Nice rifle. I would opt for more glass since the 20tac/20prac has range comparable to a 22-250.

A 32 BK does about 4020 FPS with 25.0 grains of RL10X in 60 degree weather. This bullet/powder combo is very accurate for me. Did you put the upper together or buy it complete? It looks similar to Robert Whitley's. If it isn't, where did you get the upper receiver?
I would also get some more glass, it can definitely reach out there. I love being able to see the bullet hit the target.
Make sure to keep us updated on the project.

Default rings

I've got a 1 pc RRA 1" mount you can have for 40.00 shipped if you want it. Older style, blocky tactical look, doesn't look like the newer ones, looks new. I had it on a RRA 24" Varmint upper, plenty of room for a 44mm scope. Might overwhelm that little scope though. 2x7, yowser....I can't see at 100yds with a 3x9

Congratulations mate! You have managed to make several hundred thousand Aussie shooter green with envy!

Does anyone do 20 prac bolt guns over there? Never seem to see them apart from in AR platforms. In Aussie there are a few but the .204 being available in factory loads seems to have taken hold pretty well. Also most bloke like to have .223 for the versatility of being able to use them for roo culling.
